If you have wireless thermostats, occasionally you will need to recharge the batteries.
- Remove the thermostat from its wall mount by holding the bottom edge and lifting it gently away from the wall. Once removed, you'll find a charging port on the bottom of the thermostat.
- Charge the thermostat using a standard USB C cable.
Important: Do not cover the Thermostat while charging. Leaving it open on a flat surface reduces risk of overheating. - Once fully charged (upto 4 hours), return the device to it's frame as instructed to on the thermostat itself.
Important: The wireless Thermostat will not transmit temperature or be used for heating while it is either off the wall or plugged in. Once the Thermostat has finished charging, return it to the wall bracket to restart operation.
What cables can I use to charge my Thermostat?
When charging your Thermostat, you cannot use a laptop charging cable. The Thermostat will be unable to charge and, in extreme circumstances, the Thermostat may become damaged. Please charge your Thermostat using a standard USB C cable, such as a phone charger (5v, 2A output).
This is because a laptop charger operates at a higher voltage than a phone charger, and the Thermostat will block charge from a higher voltage charger for safety reasons.
